New Teaser Removes Rachel McAdams’ Christine Palmer in One Scene
A new teaser for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness drops and eagle-eyed fans were in shock to see that Rachel McAdams’ Christine Palmer or a variant of her has been removed from one scene. This sparked rumors about her character’s fate and what could happen to her given that this curious change could spell something bad for her.
This weekend, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness released another teaser titled Fate and as fitting as the title of the clip, the fate of another character remains in question as Rachel McAdams’ Christine Palmer is nowhere to be seen in one scene when in the first official trailer and on the official stills of the movie, she is there with her red hair, seemingly working in the Illuminati facility. The photos are attached below for comparison.
Whether Marvel Studios changed their mind about the plot or this is another trick to tease the viewers, it spells something bad for Christine Palmer or her variant of some sort given the change in appearance like her hair being red instead of her usual brown hair. In another trailer, she was seen to be dealing with the evil version of Wanda in some research facility.
If she or her variant won’t survive in the film, would it be something like that in Marvel’s What If..? when Strange lost his heart, the love of his life, where Strange Supreme was made in a different timeline?
